2025 Saudi-Qatari Business Forum: New Steps Toward a Strong Economic Partnership
As part of strengthening economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar, the Saudi-Qatari Business Forum was launched in Riyadh on February 24, 2025, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister Trade Saudi Minister Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi and Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayed attended the forum. The event was also attended by 80 investors from both countries, reflecting a strong commitment to enhancing trade cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Saudi-Qatari Trade Volume:
The trade volume between Saudi Arabia and Qatar in 2024 reached approximately SAR 4.6 billion, reflecting the continued growth of the economic partnership between the two countries. Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi affirmed that the Kingdom is Qatar’s primary trading partner, noting that the leadership in both countries aims to achieve results beyond the current figures to further expand this partnership
Exchanged Goods:
The goods exported from Saudi Arabia to Qatar include gemstones, vehicles, boats, as well as plastics, rubber, and their products. On the other hand, goods imported from Qatar to Saudi Arabia include animals, mineral fuels, and chemical and inorganic products.

Additionally, the Chairman of the Saudi-Qatari Business Council, Mr. Hamad Al-Shuwaier, noted that the efforts are focused on identifying investment opportunities that align with both Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Qatar’s Vision 2030.
Signing of Strategic Agreements at the Saudi-Qatari Forum:
The forum concluded with the signing of two framework agreements, paving the way for further investment partnerships between the private sectors of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In this context, the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Mr. Hassan Al-Huwaizi, expressed his appreciation for the success of the forum, noting that the support provided by the leadership of both countries is the primary reason behind these achievements.
